Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson wish Tiger Woods well after crash

After his road crash in Los Angeles, Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson joined the support choir for Tiger Woods.

When the car rode over and crashed on Tuesday morning, the golf star sustained several cuts in his legs.

The 45-year-old has now "awakened, responded and recovered" after surgery, according to a post on his official Twitter account.

On Twitter Carey, 50, wrote: "To send love and prayers to TigerWoods and his family."

Fellow pop star Jackson, 54, said "TigerWood sends you thoughts and prayers," exchanging the emoji paws.

Jada Pinkett Smith, 49, presented a note of support earlier in the night.

The day before his crash, she played golf with Woods as part of a promotional event.

Monday and Tuesday, Woods was to spend filming with Discovery's GOLFTV, with whom he has a backing deal.
