North Walsham: Murder inquiry launched after man stabbed in neck in Norfolk

The assaulted man was received by paramedics on North Walsham's Bacton Road Friday night.

Amid his attempts, he died on the scene shortly before 23:30 soon after the police arrived.

Two men were held at the site – a man accused of murder in his 40s and a man believed to have been raped in his 30's.

They were transported to Aylsham and Wymondham police stations where they were interviewed.

The Antingham Drive police have cordoned a house off the road right off the road to Bacton.

On the road to Bacton, next to North Walsham New Cemetery entrance, a white tent was built, which backs the cul de sac, local North Norfolk News newspaper published.

Norfolk Police have confirmed that the investigators are undertaking a variety of inquiries today in the region and encouraged anyone who has seen or noticed or learned something about the event to notify the department.
