Biden pauses negative campaign ads following Trump diagnosis. Trump campaign refuses to do the same

It was one of the most bitter electoral elections in current history.

Only a few days ago, in what was generally deemed a low point for American democracy, the two rivals had physically ripped themselves to a broadcast audience of 70 million.

But after the coronavirus was positively checked by Donald Trump and his wife Melania, the mood shifted.

The campaign of Joe Biden responded to the President's diagnosis on Friday, confirming the termination of all advertising for the event.

A campaign assistant told the New York Times that it planned to leave Walter Reed Hospital before Mr. Trump was hurried.

The opening of the Biden initiative took place hours after leading Democrats, including the Biden family, gave their political enemies the good wishes.

"Jill and I are giving President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump our thoughts for a successful recovery.

We are going to continue to pray for the president and his family's wellbeing and protection, "said Biden.

Former President Barack Obama pursued his post.

"Michelle and I hope that the president, First Lady and all others infected by the coronavirus can get the treatment they need and will be on their way to a fast recovery," he added.

"Obviously, we're right now in the center of a huge political war and although a lot is involved, let's note that we're just Americans.

We are just humans. We are all citizens.

And all of us, no matter our faction, want to be safe.

But it did not last long for the bipartite atmosphere.

Tim Murtaugh, the marketing director of the Trump team, said offensive advertising from their side must cease.

"Today in Michigan, Joe Biden used his speech to criticize President Trump.

He does not say something, "he said. He can not say something."

Mr Biden said, "It is not a question of politics in the speech that Mr Murtaugh described.

We also need to take this virus seriously, because it's a bracing alert.

It doesn't immediately go down.

To be accountable, we have to do our part.

He then encouraged citizens to wear masks and then attacked Mr Trump's economic record.

Mr Trump, who is 74, is particularly at risk for coronaviral problems. He is clinically obese.

He was brought on Friday to Walter Reed hospital in the White House, following news saying he suffered from a fever and chill all day long. That was a cautionary step.

Officials said the president would operate from the hospital presidential office.

The president is being handled with an unusual treatment combination and is "tired, but in good shape." White House Dr. Sean P Conley said.

Mr. Biden said his work will proceed rapidly in the meantime.
