New teams from Japan, Argentina in Super Rugby draw

WELLINGTON, New Zealand (AP) — Teams from Japan & Argentina & a sixth South African team have been included in the draw for the 2016 Super Rugby tournament, though doubt remains over the viability of the Japanese franchise.

The southern hemisphere rugby organization SANZAR released the draw for the 2016 tournament on Monday, adding teams for the first time from Argentina & Japan, as well as a sixth team from South Africa, the Port Elizabeth-based Kings.

Singapore was moreover scheduled to host a Super Rugby match for the first time.

p>The Japanese team was drawn to play its first match against South Africa's Lions at Tokyo on Feb. 27, yet serious doubts remain approximately the club, which has no name & few confirmed signings.
