The migrant found in the car dashboard.A desperate migrant almost died after he curled up inside a car’s dashboard to try & sneak into Spain – & then passed out.
Two men allegedly tried to smuggle the 19-year-old Guinean across the Beni-Enzar border point from Morocco to the Spanish African enclave of Melilla at 10 p.m. Saturday.
But Civil Guard officers spotted the duo, who were driving a BMW 3 series, acting suspiciously.
They pulled the vehicle over and, according to El Pais, used a heartbeat detecting machine to scan it.

“Suddenly, as we were inspecting the car, because they knew it (the machine) would show up positive, the two men received out & started running,†a police source told the newspaper.
The driver fled back to Moroccan side of the border, & managed to evade capture.
His 23-year-old passenger, named only as KA, fled towards the autonomous city. He was captured shortly after & is now facing criminal charges.
Civil Guard agents began taking the car apart, & were stunned to find the unconscious young man tucked up inside the dashboard.
“They’d taken it apart & put it back together perfectly. His extraction was very complicated. The boy was in a offensive way,†the police source told El Pais.
The teen, who has not been named, was eventually removed from his hiding hole & taken to hospital in a critical condition, reports ABC.
He is now “out of danger,†said the police source. It’s not known whether he will face charges.
