One of the biggest moans from iPhone owners is that the battery life barely makes it through a day of surfing the web & listening to music.
But now tech giants Apple have finally released a case for the phone that extends battery life by a whopping 12 hours.
They now promise “increased talk time up to 25 hours, Internet use up to 18 hours on LTE, & even longer audio & video playbackâ€.
The new case is specifically designed for the iPhone 6 & 6S – so anyone with older phones will have to put up with their existing battery life.
The soft touch cover is designed so as not to scratch or leave marks on your phone & you can charge it up just like you do your device.
Smooth: The case will protect your phone & add battery life (Apple)
You will moreover be able to se how much battery life is availablee on your home screen, something Apple claims other battery cases do not do.
The only drawback is that it will cost you a wallet-busting £79 – although Apple fans tend not to be put off by silly little things like prices.
What is strange is the seemingly quiet release of something that iPhone fans have been demanding for years.
Usually there is a tremendous deal of pomp & hype around a new product yet the battery case was simply launched without fuss on the company’s website.
Perhaps that is because it’s a slight admission from the notably defensive Apple that iPhone batteries just aren’t as satisfactory as they maybe should be…
